The block is a slab of ash wood with magnets on both faces (13.4 × 9.3 in): the knives hang blade out, nothing rubs against the edges, and the Damascus pattern stays on display. The three knives cover most of what a home cook does: an 8″ chef knife for chopping and slicing, a 7″ santoku for quick vegetable prep and a 3.5″ paring knife for small, careful cuts.
